Job Title: Sales Engineer – Key Account (HVAC Solutions)
Location: Hokksund, Norway (with national travel as required)
Reports To: Nordic HVAC Solutions Sales Leader
Overall Job Purpose:
The Sales Engineer – Key Account will be instrumental in expanding LG’s HVAC Solutions business in Norway, specializing in heat pumps, system air conditioning, and chiller solutions. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring seamless project execution through technical expertise and commercial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary technical and commercial contact for key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored HVAC solutions.
- Technical Sales Support:
- Provide expert consultation on LG’s HVAC products, assisting customers with system design, integration, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and service teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
- Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with key accounts, distributors, and installers.
- Support product launches, demonstrations, and training sessions to enhance customer adoption.
- Market & Profitability Insights:
- Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to inform pricing and strategic decisions.
- Deliver regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the Nordic Sales Leader.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Nordic and European teams to align strategies and share best practices.
- Coordinate with marketing, service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in HVAC, heat pumps, or related industries, preferably in a sales or technical sales role. Proven success in managing key accounts and achieving targets.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
