Job Title: Field Engineer – HVAC Solutions (Sales Support)
Location: Hokksund, Norway (with national travel as required)
Reports To: Nordic HVAC Solutions Sales Manager
Overall Job Purpose:
The Field Engineer – HVAC Solutions (Sales Support) will provide on-site technical expertise while supporting sales activities for LG’s heat pumps, system air conditioning, and chiller solutions. This role ensures seamless project execution, resolves technical challenges, and contributes to sales growth by demonstrating product capabilities and building customer trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Field Support:
- Conduct on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for HVAC systems.
- Provide hands-on technical support to customers and partners, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Sales Enablement:
- Assist in product demonstrations and pilot projects to showcase LG’s HVAC solutions.
- Support sales teams with technical insights during customer meetings and proposals.
- Customer & Partner Collaboration:
- Work closely with installers, distributors, and key accounts to ensure project success.
- Gather customer feedback and relay it to the sales and product teams for continuous improvement.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Train local partners and installers on LG’s HVAC products and best practices.
- Document technical solutions and share learnings with the broader team.
Person Specification:
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in HVAC field service, with exposure to heat pumps, system AC, or chillers.
- Sales-related experience (e.g., supporting quotes, demos, or customer onboarding) is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with HVAC systems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical details clearly to customers and sales teams.
- Proactive problem-solving and teamwork mindset.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English.
